Lasting projects are built on lasting relationships.

How we engage

A local-first approach to building trust around our projects.

• Community champions
ValOre engages local community champions to build transparent, trusting relationships with neighbouring communities. These individuals ensure open communication, accessibility, and consistent engagement, helping ValOre listen to local priorities and respond to them as the project advances.
• Local partnerships
ValOre has established strong and lasting partnerships in the municipality of Pedra Branca, including with the Secretariat of Education, Sports, and Health. The company has earned a high level of trust across the Pedra Branca region and the community of Capitão Mór, where its in-country team lives and works.
• Responsible exploration
ValOre conducts its work in line with Brazil’s environmental and mining frameworks and engages regulators early. The company has proactively worked with SEMACE, the Ceará State environmental agency, and the ANM, Brazil’s National Mining Agency, to align expectations and support responsible, efficient project advancement.
• Shared economic growth
By employing a local workforce, partnering with Brazilian service providers, and investing in regional capacity, ValOre works to ensure that the value created at Pedra Branca is shared with the communities that help make it possible.
