Vancouver, British Columbia, August 15th, 2024 – ValOre Metals Corp. (“ValOre”; TSXV: VO; OTCQB: KVLQF; Frankfurt: KEQ0, “the Company”) today announced the start of a detailed ground magnetic and gamma spectrometry geophysical survey and provided an update on exploration work at the Salvador Target (“Salvador”) area at ValOre’s 100%-owned Pedra Branca Platinum Group Elements (“PGE”, “2PGE+Au”) Project (“Pedra Branca”) in northeastern Brazil.

Thiago Diniz, ValOre’s V.P. of Exploration commented: “Salvador is rapidly becoming one of the main targets on our Pedra Branca property, but it was previously only covered with a regional scale magnetic survey. The new geophysical data and interpretation from the detailed ground magnetic and gamma spectrometry surveys, combined with results from the current Trado® drilling and trenching programs underway, will help us delineate priority targets for future resource expansion drill programs at Salvador.”

Salvador Trado® Auger Drilling and Trenching Programs

Follow-up Trado® auger drilling and trenching programs are in progress at the Salvador target, aiming at delineating PGE mineralization along a 600 m trend located north of the area drill-tested in 2023 (CLICK HERE for News Release dated July 17, 2024);

  • Trado® auger drilling has intercepted ultramafic rocks (“UM”) in 14 of 22 Trado® auger holes drilled to date– see Figure 1);
  • UM continuity confirmed along the 600 m of mineralized soils trend under investigation;
  • 43 samples have been sent to lab, with initial assay results pending;
  • Following Trado® auger drilling, a trenching program commenced on August 14th; with approximately 200 m planned to be excavated in 4 to 6 trenches along the 600 m strike extension to the north of the area drilled in 2023;
  • Both the Trado® auger drilling and trenching programs are expected to be finished by the end of August.

Figure 1: Salvador Plan View Location Map, displaying Trado® auger drill holes completed to date and planned trenches.

Figure 1: Salvador Plan View Location Map, displaying Trado® auger drill holes completed to date and planned trenches.

Salvador Geophysical Program

In addition to the Trado® auger and trenching programs, ValOre engaged GSM Geoscience (“GSM”) to conduct a detailed ground geophysical survey, consisting of 50 line kilometres (“km”) of ground magnetics and gamma spectrometry, covering the entire strike-length of the Salvador target and extensions. The field work, which started on August 14th and is expected to be completed by the end of August, will be followed by a 3D inversion modeling and structural interpretation.

Geophysical data collection, modeling and interpretation, combined with ongoing geochemical data from the Trado® and trenching programs underway, will provide us with detailed and key information to determine priority core drill targets for future resource estimation at Salvador.

At Salvador, magmatic nickel-copper sulfide mineralization occurs in a sulfide-rich peridotitic horizon basal to chromitite reefs. The sulfide mineralization is characterized by up to 5% disseminated to locally semi-massive pyrrhotite, pyrite, pentlandite and chalcopyrite.

The Salvador Ni-Cu assay results and mineralization style reported herein are very similar to those reported from the southern extension of ValOre’s Trapia 1 deposit, located ~20 kilometres to the south-southwest (see news release dated September 25, 2023), and provide further evidence of the potential to discover significant magmatic Ni-Cu sulfide mineralization throughout the Pedra Branca district.

The future use of electromagnetic (“EM”) geophysical surveys is now under review for Salvador, Trapia 1, and other prospective trends property-wide to aid in the discovery of potential sulfide extensions along strike and down-dip.

Salvador Field Program Highlights

Follow-up soil and Trado® auger assay results confirm PGE mineralization along 1.5 kilometres (“km”) of strike, including 1.1 km of trend outside of the drill-tested zone (see news release dated September 21, 2023).

  • Consistent PGE grades in soils and Trado® defined along 650 m in strike length to the north and an additional 450 m to the south of the area drilled in 2023 (see Figure 1);
  • Assay results warrant follow-up trenching to investigate in-situ continuity of the PGE-mineralized ultramafic rocks (“UMs”) along the undrilled trend.

Mr. Diniz also stated: “We look forward to continuing to grow Salvador by drilling open extensions both along strike and at depth, to advance the target towards potential inclusion in ValOre’s next mineral resource update.”

Salvador Discovery – Exploration Program Highlights

Click on this link to view a short video (2m53s) about the Salvador discovery.

ValOre identified Salvador as a high caliber target in January of this year, and rapidly advanced it to a September core drilling discovery through cost-effective, sequential exploration.

Geological mapping, soil sampling and Trado® auger drilling were completed over a strike length of approximately 1.5 kilometres (“km”), with a total of 245 soil samples and 47 rock samples collected, and 98 m of Trado® auger drilled in 23 holes. High-grade surface palladium-platinum mineralization was established along 1.3 km of undrilled trend.

Four trenches were excavated along Salvador’s main zone which exposed and defined chromite-bearing ultramafic rocks (“UMs”), with PGE mineralization reported in all trenches, spanning 400 m of strike length.

Eight core drill holes, totaling 1,056 m were subsequently completed to test the depth potential of surface PGE mineralization at Salvador over the full 400 m trend, with chromite-bearing ultramafic rocks intercepted in 7 of 8 holes, including chromitite reefs, a lithology typically associated with high-grade palladium-platinum values at Pedra Branca. Disseminated base metal sulfide mineralization, typically associated with high-grade Ni and Cu mineralization, was also drilled. Nickel and copper sulfide assays by atomic absorption spectrometry remain pending.

The mineralized UM package at Salvador has demonstrated significant thickness and continuity at depth and warrants additional follow-up core drilling in future programs. The evolution of Salvador from concept to discovery showcases the excellent prospectivity at Pedra Branca and demonstrates the team’s ability to successfully advance previously untested zones along the regional Troia trend.

Leveraging the Company’s strong understanding of the regional and local geology has moved Salvador from concept to the drill-ready stage for less than CAD$20,000, including geological mapping, soil and rock sampling, Trado auger drilling and trenching. Costs for the drill program, including drilling and assay costs for 8 core drill holes, totalled CAD$240,000, highlighting the deployment of a cost effective and successful exploration program at Pedra Branca property (Figure 2).

2023 Drill Program Highlights

PGE assay results have now been received from the entire 2023 Phase 1 drill program consisting of 49 drill holes totaling 6,152 metres, including 154 core assay samples from 6 drill holes at Salvador and Ipueiras reported herein (Tables 2 and 3). Still pending are copper (“Cu”) and nickel (“Ni”) assays from 274 samples from 4 holes at Salvador.

Vancouver, British Columbia, October 30th, 2023 – ValOre Metals Corp. (“ValOre”; TSXV: VO; OTCQB: KVLQF; Frankfurt: KEQ0, “the Company”) today reported assay results from the Trapiá 1 deposit (“Trapiá 1”) area as part of the 2023 Phase 1 drill program at ValOre’s 100%-owned Pedra Branca Platinum Group Elements (“PGE”, “2PGE+Au”) Project (“Pedra Branca”) in northeastern Brazil.

“The 2023 core drilling program at Trapiá 1 has successfully demonstrated resource expansion potential, extending known PGE mineralization 400 metres outside of the existing Trapiá 1 resource boundary, including high-grade palladium-platinum mineralization within broad intersections of PGE-mineralized ultramafic rocks, and high-grade magmatic nickel sulfide mineralization,” stated Thiago Diniz, Exploration Manager, ValOre Metals Corp. “The 2023 results build on the 31 previously drilled core holes at Trapiá 1 to extend known mineralization to almost 1 kilometre in strike length and down to 300 metres vertical depth, in a deposit that is already the largest resource zone at Pedra Branca.”

Trapiá 1 2023 Drill Program Highlights

  • A total of 1,326 metres (“m”) were drilled in 4 step-out drill holes, with PGEs intersected in all 4 holes, extending mineralization 400 m outside of the 2022 NI 43-101 optimized resource pit;
  • New assays from three of the four holes include:
    • 13.55 m at 0.10 grams per tonne palladium + platinum + gold (“g/t 2PGE+Au”), 0.32% nickel (“Ni”), 0.06% copper (“Cu”) starting from 283.2 m, and including 3.10 m at 0.22 g/t 2PGE+Au, 0.95% Ni, 0.21% Cu from 283.7 m and 1.4 m at 0.15 g/t 2PGE+Au, 0.52% Ni, 0.05% Cu from 294.5 m in drill hole DD23TU32;
    • 88.25 m at 0.42 g/t 2PGE+Au from 241.2 m in drill hole DD23TU35;
  • Significant magmatic sulfide mineralization intersected in holes DD23TU32 and DD23TU33, including disseminated to semi-massive sulfides (pyrrhotite > pentlandite > chalcopyrite), with four core samples returning over 1% Ni sulfide mineralization in drill hole DD23TU32;

Pedra Branca PGE Project – Trapia 1 Drilling Results – Sept 25, 2023

Vancouver, British Columbia, September 25th, 2023 – ValOre Metals Corp. (“ValOre”; TSXV: VO; OTCQB: KVLQF; Frankfurt: KEQ0, “the Company”) today reported initial assay results from the recently completed 2023 Phase 1 core drilling at ValOre’s 100%-owned Pedra Branca Platinum Group Elements (“PGE”, “2PGE+Au”) Project (“Pedra Branca”) in northeastern Brazil.

“Drill results from DD23TU33 indicate a broad interval of high-grade mineralization intersected in a 150-metre step out hole to the south of the existing resource at Trapia 1, underscoring the resource expansion potential. Importantly, this broad intersection contains a higher-sulphide, high-grade PGE-Ni-Cu interval that may be amenable to targeting by geophysical methods,” stated Thiago Diniz, Exploration Manager, ValOre Metals Corp. “Trapia 1 results have ramifications at other known zones across the Pedra Branca project, as they clearly demonstrate significant resource expansion potential at depth and down dip of previous drilling.”

Highlights

Trapia 1

  • Assay results received for the first of four holes drilled in 2023 at the Trapia 1 deposit (total 1,326 m);
    • 71.8 metres (“m”) at 1.59 grams per tonne palladium + platinum + gold (“g/t 2PGE+Au”) starting from 235.9 m, including 8.15 m at 10.54 g/t 2PGE+Au, 0.37% Ni and 0.11% Cu;
    • High-grade palladium-platinum and nickel-copper mineralization occurs in association with a sulfide-rich peridotitic horizon at the bottom of the chromitite reef, and is characterized by up to 5% disseminated to brecciated pyrrhotite, pyrite, pentlandite and chalcopyrite (Figures 3 and 4);
  • PGE mineralization intercepted 150 m outside of the existing 2022 NI 43-101 resource at Trapia 1 (480,000 oz of the total Trapia 2022 NI 43-101 resource of 885,000 oz at 0.96 g/t);
  • Assays pending for the remaining Trapia 1 holes, including DD23TU35 located up-dip of DD23TU33; and DD23TU32, representing an additional 150 m step out to the south, along strike and down-plunge of DD23TU33.

2023 Drill Program

  • 6,152 m drilled in 49 holes distributed along 8 separate exploration and resource zones (see ValOre news release of September 21, 2023);
  • 1,625 core samples sent to lab, with assays pending for 641 samples from 14 holes.
  • Recently received assays results also include near-surface PGE mineralization drilled in the Ipueiras target, including:
    • 11.85 m grading 0.55 g/t 2PGE+Au from surface, incl. 0.9 m grading 1.58 g/t 2PGE+Au from 2.65 m in drill hole DD23IP04;
